There are three ways for the [[Waste Disposal Authority]] and [[Waste Collection Authority]] to work together and these are listed on the [[Waste Disposal Authority]] page. In the Yorkshire and Humberside of England all three types of arrangement are used.

In the Yorkshire and Humberside region the following [[Waste Disposal Authority|Waste Disposal Authorities]] have, or are, in partnerships to procure [[treatment]] and [[disposal]] contracts, some of which are through [[PPP]]/[[PFI]] arrangements:
