There are three ways for the [[Waste Disposal Authority]] and [[Waste Collection Authority]] to work together and these are listed on the [[Waste Disposal Authority]] page. In the North West of England all three types of arrangement are used.

The Waste Disposal Authorities in the North West of England are listed below. There are three ways for the Waste Disposal Authority and Waste Collection Authority to work together and these are listed on the Waste Disposal Authority page. In the North West of England all three types of arrangement are used.

In the North West the following Waste Disposal Authorities have, or are, in partnerships to procure treatment and disposal contracts, some of which are through PPP/PFI arrangements:
