The Waste Disposal Authorities in London are listed below. There are three ways for the Waste Disposal Authority and Waste Collection Authority to work together and these are listed on the Waste Disposal Authority page. In London all three types of arrangement are used.
In London the following Waste Disposal Authorities have, or are, in partnerships to procure treatment and disposal contracts, some of which are through PPP/PFI arrangements:
- South London Waste Partnership - Croydon London Borough Council, Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Merton London Borough Council and Sutton London Borough Council.
- Lewisham London Borough Council and Greenwich London Borough Council - procurement of treatment/disposal of residual waste at SELCHP ERF.
