The [[Waste Incineration Directive]] ([[WID]]) was the original legislation that set the criteria for acceptable emissions from a combustion/[[EfW]] plant and was enacted into England via the Waste Incineration (England and Wales) Regulations 2004. These have now been replaced by the [[Industrial Emissions Directive]].

The Waste Incineration Directive (WID) was the original legislation that set the criteria for acceptable emissions from a combustion/EfW plant and was enacted into England via the Waste Incineration (England and Wales) Regulations 2004.
