A type of Waste Derived Fuel, Cemfuel is sourced from the waste streams after solvent recovery has occurred, and used in Cement Kilns as a high CV alternative to traditional fossil fuels. Cemfuel was created in 1992 and is predominantly supplied to Cement Kilns in the UK by Tradebe[1]. The EWC classification for Cemfuel is predominantly shown as 19 02 08* in the Cement Kilns waste returns and is also referred to by some operators as a Recycled Liquid Fuel or RLF.
