An Operation and Maintenance Contract (O&M Contract) is a form of contract for the ongoing day to day running and maintenance of a facility. In the UK this may apply to any form of waste infrastructure, i.e. Residual Waste EFW, Biomass EfW, and Anaerobic Digestion and may or may not be the same company/entity that delivered the construction of the facility under an EPC. Contracts can run for fixed term periods, i.e. 5 years, or up to and including the full anticipated life of the facility.
