Summary
A Biomass EfW facility based on 40,000 tonnes per annum of waste wood producing 5 MW of electricity to be exported to the national grid. The facility is located in Lancing in West Sussex. The feedstock that is accepted at the facility includes wood, paper and organic-based construction and demolition waste[1]
The Lancing biomass plant began construction in 2007 and became operational in 2008. The facility is operated and was developed by Rabbit Waste Management Ltd[2]

The facility cost £10m to develop[1] and is collocated with recycling operations[2].
