Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy

Is a Government Department which was created on the 14 July 2016 through a merger between the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) and the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). The department is responsible for government policy in areas such as business regulations and support. Climate Change, Company Law, Competition, Energy, Regional and local economic development, science and research and trade.
