The Waste Disposal Authorities in the South East of England are listed below. There are three ways for the Waste Disposal Authority and Waste Collection Authority to work together and these are listed on the Waste Disposal Authority page. In the South East of England all three types of arrangement are used.
In the South East the following Waste Disposal Authorities have, or are, in partnerships to procure treatment and disposal contracts, some of which are through PPP/PFI arrangements:
- Project Integra - PFI between Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council
- Re3 - PFI between Bracknell Forest Borough Council, Reading Borough Council and Wokingham Council
