The Waste Disposal Authorities in the West Midlands of England are listed below. There are three ways for the Waste Disposal Authority and Waste Collection Authority to work together and these are listed on the Waste Disposal Authority page. In the West Midlands of England all three types of arrangement are used.
In the West Midlands the following Waste Disposal Authorities have, or are, in partnerships to procure treatment and disposal contracts, some of which are through PPP/PFI arrangements:
- Worcestershire County Council and Herefordshire Council PFI for the treatment/disposal of residual waste at EnviRecover - Hartlebury EFW
- Coventry City Council and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council jointly own the LATCs Coventry and Solihull Waste Disposal Company Ltd (CSWDC) who in turn operate the Coventry EfW Plant
