Plant Description
The plant is based on 2 lines of gasification technology, each with a capacity of 43,500 tonnes a year each[1].
It is understood to have one line in advanced commissioning.
History
The site gained planning consent in 2005 and had a number of vairations since[2].
The permit was granted in July 2021 to Exeter Waste to Energy Ltd (ultimately owned by AE Stuart, owners of the Busness Park[3]) and is to receive pre-pared RDF[1] understood to come from an adjacent associated business.
