Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs)
Funidng for Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) ceased from April 2024 with functions being transferred to local authorities and, where not already delivered, to combined authorities[1].

Historical Context
Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) were business led partnerships between Local Authorities and local private sector businesses.
There were 38 across England and were focused on determining local economic priorities and undertaking activities to drive economic growth and job creation, improve infrastructure and raise workforce skills within the local area.
The Spring budget 2023 set out an intention to withdraw core funding from April 2024, transferring functions of the LEPs to local authorities and combined authorities.
