Newlincs EfW
An EfW facility based upon conventional combustion technology, Newlincs has a permitted capacity of 56,000 tonnes per year. The site is operated by Paprec Energies (formerly Cyclerval) and is located in Stallingborough, near Grimsby.
Delivery of waste is by road and the facility processes primarily residual Household Waste.

Plant Description
Built by TIRU SA (later Dalkia Group and then later purchased by Paprec) under a Design & Build EPC-turnkey contract which was delivered and operational in 2003 it is similar to the Exeter EFW facility.
The plant comprises of one line with a design capacity capable of treating 56,000 tonnes per year (around 7 tonnes per hour) via standard combustion technology comprising an oscillating kiln, generating super-heated steam, and is configured to run on primarily residual Household Waste.
Power output design is reported is 3MWe[1].
History
The Newlincs facility was built primarily to service a 25 year PPP contract signed in 1999 with North East Lincolnshire Council.
Anticipated throughput of up to 56,000 tonnes per annum, the site has been operating snce 2003 and is focused on MSW from the North East Lincolnshire catchment area[1].
