Twinwoods
Twinwoods Heat & Power CHP is permitted to process up to 35,000 tonnes a year of waste wood (including some hazardous waste wood) generating up to 3.4MWe to the grid.
The facility is located near Milton Ernest in Bedofrdshire.

Plant Description
The project was originally based on equipment supply and delivery by Bioflame, but after going into administration in 2011 it was taken up by Saxlund International who changed the arrangements, using a single line of their combustion stepped grate technology similar to the Falbygden Biomass plant in Sweden[3][4].
The permit was varied in 2018 to be able to receive hazardous as well as non-hazardous waste wood[4][5].
History
The Twinwoods site was developed by Twinwoods Heat and Power Ltd (a company established to develop the project on from the original developer B&W Waste Management) and was originally a joint venture between Bioflame and Growing Beds.
After raising capital from Star Capital is was completed in 2015 after originally starting in 2009[1][2].
