Plant Description
A standard combustionapproach via a single line fluidised bed technology engineered by McLellan & Partners and built by Abengoa[2].
The plant has a single turbine that produces 11.8MWe (10.2MWe net exported to the grid)[3].
History
Finance for the plant was provided from the Bank of Scotland and cost £22m to build[2].
The plant is operated by EPR Scotland (a Melton Renewables Energy business)[1][3].
